The act of twerking has embedded itself into modern media such as music, entertainment videos, and exercise. Twerking can look incredibly simple, yet it is actually very technical. Messing up one move can result in the death of your social, emotional, and physical life. Here is a simplified, tried and true, step-by-step routine on how to twerk like a professional:
1.Twerk Hands vs. Regular Hands
When getting ready to twerk, you must position your hands properly on your thighs. First, hold out your palms away from yourself and turn them 90 degrees inward. Then bring them down and loosely grab your quadriceps, right above your knees.
2. Positioning of Legs
Bend your knees and split your legs to around shoulder width. This will expose your ass towards the direction that you’re not facing.
3. Arched Back and Butt Up
Always start twerking with your butt up and back arched down. Then slowly bend your back up, bringing your butt down again. Do this repeatedly to get a magnificent twerk.
4. Practice Practice PRACTICE
Do this for 45 minutes a day to become the next Beyoncé.
