Why is liking math considered weird?

Hi!

Well, people are not understanding of things they don’t know well or bad at. They might think that no one will like the things that they dislike. It's similar to how liking doing homework seems weird. People would think “I hate doing this. Why will someone like this and be good at it? How weird!” In fact, if you were in a better study environment, where everyone enjoyed studying, people wouldn't consider liking math as weird and would discuss difficult problems together. But in an environment where students are simply just finishing the math work and complaining about how annoying it is all the time, it's hard for them to understand why someone would like math.

I really admire people who like math and can do math well. So, ignore the mean comments and keep on doing math!
