Is happiness just chemicals flowing through your brain or something more?

Hi!

Happiness can be defined as “an emotional state characterised by feelings of joy and satisfaction” meaning that, while happiness is triggered by the production of dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, and endorphins — the contentment and fulfillment that you feel are more than the chemicals that flows through your brain. The increase in the production of those chemicals will theoretically make you feel happier. However, happiness could also be achieved through doing the things that fulfills them, and in each and every one of us resides a unique process of individual evolution, and that, is more than chemicals flowing through your brain.

Sincerely,
